Fredrik Filipsson

Fredrik Filipsson is a co-founder of LayoverIndex and the editor responsible for what the index covers and how far it goes.

He runs the airport coverage and the research standards behind it, and he owns the rule that defines the whole site: every guide has to end in a verdict a traveler can actually act on, not a list of facts that leaves you no wiser at the gate. He decides which airports get built next, what a guide has to answer before it goes live, and where the line sits between a recommendation worth making and one that should wait for better evidence.

Fredrik writes and maintains the LayoverIndex guides for the airports listed below. Every guide he publishes is independently reviewed by co-founder Morten Andersen before and after it goes live, and any reader correction sent through the contact form reaches him directly.
