Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Lounges (CGK): Every Lounge and How to Get In

Jakarta runs a smaller lounge bench than its neighbours, and it shifts more often. The doors we could verify cluster heavily in Terminal 3, where one lounge never closes. Here is the current map, with the unverifiable bits flagged honestly.

Lounge verdict
Decent but uneven. Terminal 3 international carries the whole airport with the 24 hour Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge and the Garuda Indonesia flagship. Terminals 1 and 2 run on a thinner lineup of Blue Sky and Saphire rooms that change names and operators with little notice.
Best access play
Priority Pass opens the Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 from 10:00 to midnight, the Saphire Lounge in Terminal 2, and Blue Sky Premier lounges on the domestic side. Without any program, walk up entry at the Terminal 3 Saphire runs about 54 dollars for 3 hours.
The one thing to know
Lounges sit airside in your departure terminal, and CGK terminals are far apart, linked by the free Skytrain plus a fresh security pass. Pick from the list for the terminal you actually fly from, not the best lounge at the airport.

How the CGK lounge map works

The terminal decides everything. Terminal 3 is the showcase: Garuda Indonesia, its SkyTeam partners and most full service international carriers fly from here, and so do the airport's two serious lounges. Terminal 2 handles a mix of domestic flights and low cost international departures, with a small international lounge corridor in the 2F area. Terminal 1 is domestic low cost territory, where the lounge offer is basic but improving, with a brand new Priority Pass door that opened in January 2026.

One warning before the tables. Indonesian airport lounges are unusually fluid: operators rebrand, bank lounges open and close with card partnerships, and published hours drift. Everything below was checked against current operator and program listings on 1 June 2026, and anything we could not pin down says to be confirmed rather than a guess. Treat that phrase as an instruction to check the operator's page or app on the day you fly.

Blue Sky Premier Lounge 1CTerminal 1C domestic departuresTo be confirmedPriority Pass, LoungeKey, open to all passengers via paid entryOpened 2 January 2026; the newest lounge at the airport and easily the best thing in Terminal 1
Saphire Precious (CIP)Terminal 1B domestic departures24 hoursPaid CIP package booked through Plaza Premium; third party operatedAn escort and private lounge product rather than a classic lounge; useful for tight domestic connections with bags

Terminal 1 serves domestic low cost flights, so the lounge offer follows the market: short stays, simple catering, and a hard 2 hour cap at the Priority Pass doors. The January 2026 opening in 1C is the one genuine upgrade, built by Airport Dimensions with the local Blue Sky Group and aimed squarely at Priority Pass and LoungeKey holders. Terminal 1 has also historically hosted bank affiliated lounges tied to Indonesian credit cards; the current lineup changes too often to print, so treat any bank lounge here as to be confirmed until your card's app shows it.

Terminal 2

LoungeLocationHoursAccessVerdict
Saphire Lounge Jakarta by IAS HospitalityTerminal 2F international departures, airside05:00 to 21:00Priority Pass, paid entry bookable through Plaza Premium; third party operatedThe default international lounge in Terminal 2, with showers, a prayer room and private resting areas; modest but it does the job

Blue Sky Premier Lounge 2DTerminal 2D domestic departuresTo be confirmedPaid entry and vouchers sold through travel platforms; program access to be confirmedA serviceable domestic stop if you are flying from the D pier; check it is open before walking over

Terminal 2 is the awkward middle child. International departures from 2F get the Saphire Lounge, which Plaza Premium lists as a partner facility run by IAS Hospitality with sensible 05:00 to 21:00 hours that cover almost every departure bank. The Concordia name has been part of the Jakarta lounge furniture for decades and still appears in Citilink's own lounge program for 2F, but published hours are thin on the ground, so we list it as to be confirmed rather than invent a schedule. If you are flying domestic from Terminal 2, the Blue Sky room on the D side is the only door we found evidence for, and it trades mostly through voucher platforms rather than lounge programs.

Terminal 3 is where CGK earns its keep. The Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge is the workhorse: it is the contract lounge for most full service carriers outside SkyTeam, it sells entry to anyone, and it is the only lounge at the airport that runs around the clock, which matters because Jakarta's long haul departures bunch up after 21:00. The Garuda complex on the mezzanine floor is the more atmospheric room, and the 349,000 rupiah buy in for Garuda economy passengers, roughly 22 dollars, is one of the cheapest flagship lounge entries anywhere in Asia. ANA and JAL premium passengers get the unusual privilege of access to both lounges, so visit Saphire for the food and Garuda for the quiet. One quirk to respect: Priority Pass entry at Saphire runs 10:00 to midnight with a 2 hour cap even though the lounge itself never closes, so a 02:00 red eye on a Priority Pass plan needs either a paid ticket or a different evening.

Access decoder

What actually opens these doors

Priority Pass is the widest key at CGK, currently covering the Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 international, the Saphire Lounge in Terminal 2F, the Blue Sky Premier Lounge near gate 18 in Terminal 3 domestic, and the Blue Sky Premier lounges in Terminals 1A and 1C. Stays are capped at 2 hours in most of them, and the Terminal 3 Saphire takes Priority Pass only between 10:00 and midnight. For where each door is and when it fills, see the full Priority Pass guide for CGK.

Class of travel works the way the contract map says it does. SkyTeam business class and Elite Plus status open the Garuda Indonesia lounges. Most other full service carriers, including Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, EVA Air, Qantas, Thai Airways and Turkish Airlines, send their premium passengers to the Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge. ANA, JAL, Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines premium passengers are directed to the Garuda lounge, with ANA and JAL eligible for both.

Paying at the door is easy and reasonably priced. The Terminal 3 Saphire sells roughly 3 hours for 54 dollars, cheaper if you prebook on the Plaza Premium site, and Garuda sells its own lounge to Garuda economy passengers for 349,000 rupiah plus 11 percent tax, bookable up to 5 hours before departure with a 4 hour maximum stay. Voucher platforms sell entry to the Blue Sky rooms on the domestic side for less.

Bank cards matter more in Indonesia than almost anywhere else. BCA, Mandiri, BNI and CIMB Niaga have all run lounge access perks on premium cards at CGK, usually on the domestic side. Which lounge honours which card changes constantly, so verify in your bank's app rather than at the lounge desk. DragonPass coverage at CGK likewise shifts; check the app for the current list, and treat any door it shows as subject to space.

Rules drift faster here than at most hubs. Use the tables as the map, then confirm the one door you are counting on the day you fly.

FAQ

CGK lounge questions

Which CGK lounges take Priority Pass?

Five that we could verify: the Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 international (10:00 to midnight, 2 hour stay), the Saphire Lounge in Terminal 2F, the Blue Sky Premier Lounge near gate 18 in Terminal 3 domestic, and the Blue Sky Premier lounges in Terminals 1A and 1C, the last of which opened in January 2026.

Can I pay for a lounge at Jakarta airport without flying business class?

Yes. The Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 sells about 3 hours of access for 54 dollars, with prebooking discounts online. Garuda Indonesia sells its own lounge to Garuda economy passengers for 349,000 rupiah plus 11 percent tax, around 22 dollars, which is the best lounge value at the airport.

What is the best lounge at CGK?

The Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3. It has made to order local dishes like bakso and soto ayam, barista coffee, attended shower suites, and it runs 24 hours. The Garuda Indonesia lounge has the nicer atmosphere and quieter seating, but its buffet and WiFi trail Saphire's.

Is there a 24 hour lounge at Jakarta airport?

Yes. The Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 international is open 24 hours daily according to the operator, which suits Jakarta's late night long haul bank. Note that Priority Pass entry there is limited to 10:00 to midnight, so overnight visits need a paid ticket or eligible airline access.

Does Garuda Indonesia have a first class lounge at CGK?

Technically yes, on the Terminal 3 mezzanine by the food court, but it is frequently closed as Garuda's first class operation has shrunk to a handful of routes. Do not plan around it. The Platinum Lounge that opened in early 2025 inside the main Garuda lounge is the newer and more reliable premium space.

Do CGK lounges have showers?

The ones that matter do. The Saphire Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 has attended shower suites with private toilets, the Garuda Indonesia lounge has shower rooms in both its main and terrace washrooms, and the Saphire Lounge in Terminal 2 lists showers as well. Ask at reception for towels and amenities.
