Taipei Taoyuan Lounges TPE: every lounge and how to get in
Taoyuan has more than ten lounges across two terminals, and the free airside Skytrain means a lounge in the other terminal is barely 15 minutes away. Here is the full map and how to get in.

- Wide and well run. EVA Air holds the airline ground in Terminal 2 with four lounges, Starlux runs a Galactic Lounge in each terminal, and the independent doors come through Plaza Premium in both terminals plus the Oriental Club Lounge in Terminal 2. A renovation cycle runs the Plaza Premium lounges through June 2026, but at least one stays open in each terminal throughout.

How the Taoyuan lounge map works
Terminal first, then access. Terminal 2 is the EVA Air building and holds the deepest bench: EVA runs four lounges, Starlux opened a second larger Galactic Lounge here, and the independent doors are Plaza Premium and the Oriental Club Lounge. Terminal 1 is the original 1979 building and the main home of Starlux, with the Starlux Galactic Lounge on level 4 and two Plaza Premium lounges. Because the airside Skytrain links the terminals in about 2 minutes with no new screening, a lounge in the other terminal is a real option on a connection.
The access split is simple. Priority Pass and paid walk up cover the Plaza Premium lounges and the Oriental Club. The EVA Air lounges run on Star Alliance status and EVA cabin and tier, and the Starlux Galactic Lounges run on Starlux Business and top tier COSMILE membership. Hours and the 2026 renovation calendar move things around, so treat the figures below as verify at booking.

Two things to read from the table. The renovation calendar is the live variable: through June 2026 the Plaza Premium lounges close in turn, with Zone D shut from 3 March to 30 April and Zone C from 1 May to 30 June in Terminal 1, so one of the pair is always open. And the EVA and Starlux lounges do not sell walk up entry, so without the right status or cabin the independent doors are Plaza Premium and the Oriental Club.

What actually opens these doors
Priority Pass covers the Plaza Premium lounges in both terminals and the Oriental Club Lounge in Terminal 2. It does not cover the EVA Air or Starlux lounges, which run on airline status and cabin.

Which TPE lounges take Priority Pass?
The Plaza Premium lounges in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and the Oriental Club Lounge in Terminal 2. All of these also sell walk up entry. The EVA Air and Starlux lounges do not take Priority Pass; they run on airline status and cabin. Note that one Plaza Premium lounge in each terminal is closed in turn through June 2026, so check which room is open.
Can I pay to get into a Taoyuan lounge without status?

Are the Plaza Premium lounges at TPE closed for renovation?
In part, on a rotating schedule through June 2026, so at least one stays open in each terminal at all times. In Terminal 1 the Zone D lounge closed from 3 March to 30 April and Zone C from 1 May to 30 June, and Terminal 2 has its own closures with a backup room kept open. Check which room is open on your day before you rely on a specific one.
Which lounge is best at TPE?
On an EVA Air or Star Alliance premium ticket, the EVA Air The Infinity lounge in Terminal 2 is the standout. On Starlux Business or top tier COSMILE, the Starlux Galactic Lounge. Without status, the Plaza Premium lounges and the Oriental Club Lounge are the dependable Priority Pass or paid choice, and the free 24 hour showers airside cover a wash without any lounge.
Which terminal are the EVA Air lounges at Taoyuan?
All in Terminal 2, where every EVA Air flight departs. EVA runs four lounges there: The Infinity and The Star for mainstream business and Star Gold passengers, The Club as a secondary room, and The Garden for top tier members only. China Airlines and Starlux split across both terminals, so check your gate.
Can I use a lounge in the other terminal at TPE?
Often yes. The airside Skytrain links Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in about 2 minutes with no new security screening, so if the lounge you can access sits in the other terminal you can ride over and back on a long connection. Budget about 15 minutes door to door and watch your boarding time.
