London Heathrow Lounges (LHR): Every Lounge and How to Get In
Heathrow has 43 lounges across four terminals, the deepest bench of any airport in the world. Ten of them will let you in without status or a business class ticket. Here is the full map.
- Lounge verdict
- Excellent. Every terminal has at least one lounge you can pay or Priority Pass your way into, and Terminal 3 alone runs 16 lounges including the best airline lounges in Britain.
- Best access play
- Priority Pass covers around ten doors here: Plaza Premium in Terminals 2, 4 and 5, No1 Lounge in Terminals 2 and 3, My Lounge and Clubrooms in Terminal 3, Club Aspire and Blush, plus restaurant credit at Evergreen in T3 and The Globe in T5.
- The one thing to know
- Lounges sit behind security in your departure terminal, and Heathrow rescreens every terminal change. Pick the lounge in the terminal you fly from, not the famous one two bus rides away.

How the Heathrow lounge map works
The terminal decides everything. Terminal 2 is Star Alliance territory with the Lufthansa, United, Air Canada and Singapore Airlines lounges. Terminal 3 is the trophy case: Cathay Pacific, Qantas, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, the Amex Centurion and the strongest independent lineup at the airport. Terminal 4 covers SkyTeam and the Gulf carriers, and Terminal 5 belongs almost entirely to British Airways.
Hours below were checked on 28 May 2026 and most doors open with the first departures around 5 am and close between 9 pm and 10:30 pm. Heathrow has no 24 hour lounge because the airport itself goes quiet overnight. Capacity is the real catch: Priority Pass holders get turned away from the popular doors at peak times, so prebook where the lounge sells reservations, or carry a plan B from the tables below.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plaza Premium | Lounge A3, level 4, A gates | 05:00 to 21:30 | Priority Pass, DragonPass, Amex Platinum, paid from 48 pounds | Windowless but reliable; the default T2 choice without status |
| No1 Lounge | Next to gate A18 | 05:00 to 21:00 | Priority Pass, DragonPass, paid from 40 pounds | Compact 90 seat room opened December 2024; quieter than Plaza Premium |
| Aer Lingus Gold Circle | Lounge A2 | 07:00 to 22:00 | Aer Lingus premium fares and elites, BA Gold and Silver, paid pass 30 pounds for Aer Lingus economy | Refurbished in 2024; the 30 pound pass is good value if you qualify |
| Lufthansa Business and Senator | Lounge A1 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Lufthansa group premium and Star Alliance elites, Amex Platinum with same day Lufthansa group boarding pass, paid from 49 pounds for group economy | Big, recently refreshed, rarely full |
| Air Canada Maple Leaf | Lounge B3, T2B, near gate B46 | 06:00 to 17:30 | Star Alliance business, Star Alliance Gold, eligible Aeroplan credit cards | Worth the T2B walk for the calm split level space; closes early |
| Singapore Airlines SilverKris Business and First | Lounge B2, T2B, near gate B46 | 05:30 to 22:00 | Singapore Airlines and Star Alliance premium, KrisFlyer elites, Star Alliance Gold | Reopened 2024 after refurbishment; the best food in T2 |
| United Club and Global Services | Lounge B1, T2B, opposite gate B46 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Star Alliance business and first, Star Alliance Gold, United Club members, one time pass 59 dollars | Huge and bright with floor to ceiling glass; arrive via the T2B tunnel with time to spare |
| United and Air Canada Arrivals Lounge | Landside, after T2 baggage reclaim | 06:00 to 14:00 | United Polaris and Air Canada business arrivals, top tier elites of both, no other Star Alliance access | 17 showers; a genuine reset after an overnight if you qualify |
T2 spreads across the main A building and the B satellite, a 10 to 15 minute walk through a tunnel. The three alliance lounges out at T2B are better than anything in the main building, so if your flight leaves from a B gate, go early and settle in there rather than camping at Plaza Premium.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No1 Lounge | Lounge F, toward gate 10 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Priority Pass, DragonPass, paid from 40 pounds, 6 pound prebooking guarantees entry | Renovated and reopened April 2025; pay the 6 pounds, it fills up |
| Clubrooms by No1 | Lounge F, next to No1 Lounge | 05:00 to 21:00 | Paid from 48 pounds; Priority Pass and DragonPass plus a 15 pound surcharge; no children under 12 | Table service and real quiet; the 15 pound upgrade is worth it on a long layover |
| My Lounge | Lounge D, next to gate 9 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Paid from 38 pounds; Priority Pass and DragonPass listed, confirm at the door | Opened July 2025 in the old Club Aspire space; relaxed and cheap by LHR standards |
| American Express Centurion | Second floor, left at Flight Connections | 05:30 to 21:00 | Amex Centurion and Platinum cardholders; from 8 July 2026 Platinum guests tighten to one travelling companion, entry within 5 hours of departure | Strong food and a premium bar; queues at peak are real |
| BA Galleries Club and First | Lounge F, toward gates 13 to 22 | 05:00 to 22:00 | BA and oneworld premium cabins and elites | Fine, but if you hold oneworld status in T3 there are better doors |
| Cathay Pacific Business | Lounge C, next to gate 11 | 05:30 to 21:00 | Cathay and oneworld premium, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire | The Noodle Bar alone beats most full lounges |
| Cathay Pacific First | Lounge C, next to gate 11 | 05:30 to 21:00 | First class and oneworld Emerald | The best lounge in Terminal 3, quiet with proper a la carte dining |
| American Airlines Admirals Club | Lounge H, below the Clubhouse | 05:00 to 18:30 Sun to Fri, to 16:30 Sat | AA premium, Admirals Club members, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, day pass 79 dollars | Functional rather than special; the rhubarb bistro is the highlight |
| American Airlines International First | Lounge H | 05:00 to 19:30 | AA and oneworld business and first, oneworld Emerald | Refurbished 2023, calmer than the Admirals Club next door |
| Emirates Lounge | Near gate 7 | 05:30 to 22:15 | Emirates premium and Skywards elites; paid entry for Emirates economy from 125 dollars | Direct boarding from the lounge; the paid entry price is steep |
| Qantas London Lounge | Lounge B, near gate 1 | 06:00 to 20:00 Mon to Sat, from 08:00 Sun | Qantas premium and elites, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, Emirates Skywards Platinum and Gold | Rockpool menu and two bars; eat dinner here, not at the gate |
| Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse | Lounge H, upper level | 05:30 to 22:30 | Upper Class, Delta One, Flying Club Gold, Delta Diamond and Platinum Medallion | Complimentary spa treatments and a pool table; the most fun lounge at LHR |
| Plaza Premium Arrivals | Landside arrivals, near the Aerotel | 06:00 to 14:00 | Paid from 36 pounds, shower only 22 pounds; card and program access to be confirmed | Reopened September 2025; seven showers, no windows, does the job |
| American Airlines Arrivals | Level 2, right from the arrivals exit | 06:30 to 14:30 | AA, BA and Cathay business and first arrivals, oneworld Emerald | 29 shower rooms and a champagne bar at 7 am |
| Virgin Atlantic Revivals | Upper level, after T3 arrivals | 05:00 to 12:30 | Upper Class and Delta One arrivals, Flying Club Gold, Delta top elites | 20 showers and valet pressing; the civilised way to land |
If you can route a connection through any terminal at Heathrow, route it through T3. Travelers with no status get No1, My Lounge, Clubrooms and the Centurion. Travelers with oneworld status get Cathay, Qantas and BA in one corridor. The independent doors cluster around Lounge D and F, all within a few minutes of security, so a plan B is never far when the first choice is full.
Terminal 4
Terminal 4 lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plaza Premium | Level 2, opposite gates 10a and 10b | 05:00 to 22:00 | Priority Pass, DragonPass, Amex Platinum, paid from 48 pounds | Moved to the bigger former SkyTeam space in 2024; runway views and the best independent lounge at LHR |
| Blush Lounge by Plaza Premium | Near gate 2 | 07:00 to 22:30 | EL AL premium, Priority Pass, DragonPass, Amex Platinum, paid from 44 pounds | Kosher buffet and runway views; the quiet alternative when Plaza Premium queues |
| Etihad Lounge | Near gate 10 | 06:00 to 22:00 | Etihad first and business, Etihad Guest Platinum and Gold | A la carte dining and a kids zone; one of T4's best if you qualify |
| Gulf Air Falcon Lounge | Next to gate 6 | 06:00 to 22:00 | Gulf Air premium and elites | 120 seats and excellent runway views |
| Qatar Airways Premium | Opposite gate 6 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Qatar and oneworld first and business on revenue tickets only, no guests | Luxurious and strict on the door policy |
| Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer | Level 2, opposite gate 6 | Temporarily closed | oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, award ticket premium passengers, when open | Check before relying on it; closed as of June 2026 |
| Saudia Lounge | Opposite gates 10a and 10b, upper level | 07:00 to 22:00 | Saudia first and business, Alfursan Gold, SkyTeam Elite Plus | Opened April 2025; serene and dry, no alcohol served |
| Air France Lounge | To be confirmed | Opening planned 2026, date to be confirmed | Air France La Premiere and business, Flying Blue Elite Plus, eligible SkyTeam passengers | A 750 square metre lounge with a spa is promised; not open as of June 2026 |
T4 is the sleeper pick. The terminal itself is dull, but the Plaza Premium here is the largest and best of the chain's four LHR sites, and Blush around the corner soaks up the overflow. If your layover ends with a SkyTeam or Gulf carrier departure, lounge life is easier here than anywhere else at Heathrow.
Terminal 5
Terminal 5 lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plaza Premium | Level 2 departures, next to gate A7 | 04:45 to 21:30 | Priority Pass, DragonPass, Amex Platinum, paid from 48 pounds | Compact, popular and often at capacity; have Club Aspire as backup |
| Club Aspire | Near gate A18 | 05:00 to 21:00 | Priority Pass including prebooking, paid from 40 pounds | Narrow but calm with rest pods and runway views; the only T5 lounge you can prebook on Priority Pass |
| BA Galleries Club North, South and T5B | Upper level T5A; satellite T5B | 05:00 to 22:00 | BA Club and First, BA Gold and Silver, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire | South has a cinema, North has runway views, T5B is the quiet one worth the transit ride |
| BA Galleries First | First Wing, south concourse | 05:00 to 22:00 | BA First, BA Gold, oneworld Emerald | Refurbished late 2023; the terrace seats are the prize |
| BA Concorde Room | Past the First Wing, south concourse | 05:00 to 22:00 | BA First ticket holders, BA Premier and Gold Guest List, AA ConciergeKey | Private cabanas and fine dining; the top of the BA pyramid |
| BA Galleries Arrivals | First floor, T5 public area | 05:00 to 14:00 | Arriving BA Club World and First long haul, BA Gold, AA premium long haul | 94 shower rooms and breakfast until 12:30; no natural light |
| The Windsor by Heathrow | Southern end of Terminal 5, private facility | 05:00 to 22:00 | Paid VIP service from 4,060 pounds for up to 3 passengers, business and first class tickets only | Private security, chauffeur to the aircraft; a different product entirely |
| The Globe Pub and Kitchen | Airside T5 | Terminal opening hours | Priority Pass restaurant credit of 18 pounds per visit | Joined Priority Pass in February 2026; a real fallback when both lounges are full |
T5 is BA's fortress: six of its lounges need a BA or oneworld key. Without one, you are choosing between Plaza Premium and Club Aspire, and both fill by mid morning. The honest play on a busy day is the Globe's 18 pound Priority Pass credit, a proper pub meal with no queue for a sofa.

What actually opens these doors
Priority Pass is the widest key at Heathrow: Plaza Premium in T2, T4 and T5, No1 Lounge in T2 and T3, My Lounge in T3, Club Aspire and Blush, Clubrooms with a 15 pound surcharge, plus 18 pound dining credits at Evergreen Bar and Restaurant in T3 and The Globe Pub and Kitchen in T5. Entry is always subject to space, and the T5 and T3 doors hit capacity regularly.
DragonPass mirrors most of that list at eight lounges, covering the Plaza Premium, No1, My Lounge, Blush and Clubrooms doors.
American Express runs its own Centurion lounge in T3 for Platinum and Centurion cardholders, and Platinum also opens Plaza Premium in T2, T4 and T5 plus the Lufthansa lounges in T2 when flying a Lufthansa group airline. Guest rules tighten from 8 July 2026, so check your card's current terms.
Paying at the door works at ten lounges. The cheapest reliable entries are My Lounge T3 from 38 pounds and No1 or Club Aspire from 40 pounds; Plaza Premium runs from 48 pounds. Prebooking online is cheaper than walking up and is the only way to guarantee space.
Class of travel and status covers the other 31 doors: oneworld lounges concentrate in T3 and T5, Star Alliance in T2, SkyTeam and the Gulf carriers in T4. If you hold mid tier alliance status, Heathrow is one of the best airports on earth to cash it in.
Program rules shift and lounges move. Treat the tables above as the map, and confirm the door you are counting on the day you fly. For the Priority Pass strategy in detail, see the LHR Priority Pass guide.

What is the best lounge at Heathrow?

Are there arrivals lounges at Heathrow?
Yes, six. Plaza Premium runs a paid arrivals lounge in T3 from 36 pounds, and airline arrivals lounges operate for eligible premium passengers: British Airways in T5, American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Revivals in T3, and the shared United and Air Canada lounge in T2.
Is there an Amex Centurion lounge at Heathrow?

Most do. The independent lounges charge around 20 pounds extra, the airline lounges include them, and the arrivals lounges are built around them, with 94 shower rooms at the BA Arrivals lounge in T5 alone.
