Dubai International Lounges (DXB): Every Lounge and How to Get In
DXB runs nearly twenty lounge doors across three terminals, and most of them never close. You do not need an Emirates first class ticket to use the good ones. Here is the full map, concourse by concourse.
- Lounge verdict
- Excellent, and uniquely nocturnal. Almost every lounge here runs 24 hours because the airport peaks between midnight and 3 am, so a 2 am layover gets the same buffet and showers as a midday one.
- Best access play
- Priority Pass. It opens the Marhaba lounges in all three terminals, the Ahlan Business Class Lounge in Terminal 1, the SkyTeam Lounge between 02:00 and 20:00, and rest packages at the Sleepover sleep lounges.
- The one thing to know
- No lounge program gets you into an Emirates lounge. Those seven doors in Terminal 3 take Emirates passengers and their cash only, so if you fly another airline, Marhaba and Ahlan are your map.

How the DXB lounge map works
The airline decides the terminal, and the terminal decides your lounges. Terminal 3 is the Emirates fortress, three concourses deep, holding all seven Emirates lounges plus the independent Marhaba and Sleepover doors. Terminal 1 with its Concourse D hosts everyone else, from Lufthansa to the SkyTeam carriers, and has the strongest independent lineup for travelers without status. Terminal 2 across the airfield handles flydubai and regional operators with exactly one lounge to its name.
Hours below were checked on 26 May 2026. The pattern that surprises first timers is how much runs around the clock: Emirates, Marhaba, Ahlan and SkyTeam all keep 24 hour operations because the overnight departure banks are the busiest of the day. The catch in June 2026 is closures. Two Emirates lounges and one Marhaba branch are currently shut, so check the tables before you commit to a long walk in Terminal 3.
Terminal 1
Terminal 1, Concourse D lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ahlan First Class Lounge | Concourse D, D gates | 24 hours | Paid from 55 dollars, any airline except Emirates; no Priority Pass | Calmer and better fed than the Business lounge; quietly the best cash buy at DXB |
| Ahlan Business Class Lounge | Concourse D, level 2 above the departure gates | 24 hours | Priority Pass with a 3 hour cap, paid from 44 dollars | The default T1 door: buffet, free showers, a kids room and a smoking room; busy when the night bank rolls through |
| Marhaba Lounge | Concourse D departures | 24 hours | Priority Pass with a 3 hour cap, DragonPass, paid entry | Reliable rather than exciting; the plan B when Ahlan has a queue |
| SkyTeam Lounge | Concourse D, upper level above duty free | 24 hours | SkyTeam business class and Elite Plus; Priority Pass only 02:00 to 20:00 with a 4 hour cap, showers cost extra on a pass | The most polished room in T1, and that 02:00 Priority Pass window suits DXB's night schedule perfectly |
| Lufthansa Business Lounge | Concourse D, mezzanine above duty free | 20:30 to 02:00 | Lufthansa group business class and eligible Star Alliance passengers | Opens only around the overnight Lufthansa group departures; fine for what it is |
| Lufthansa Senator Lounge | Concourse D, mezzanine above duty free | 20:30 to 02:00 | Miles & More Senator and Star Alliance Gold | Marginally quieter than the Business lounge next door |
| Sleepover (formerly sleep n fly) | Opposite gates D6 and D7 | To be confirmed | Paid sleep packages by the hour; Priority Pass rest stays per current program terms | Pods and cabins, not canapes; the right call at 3 am with a long wait ahead |
Terminal 1 is quietly the best value terminal at DXB. The two Ahlan lounges sell entry at prices that would not cover a sandwich in some European lounges, and the SkyTeam Lounge upstairs is a genuine step up if your pass or ticket qualifies. The Lufthansa pair are the only doors in the airport that keep short hours, and even those are tuned to the flights they serve.
Terminal 2
Terminal 2 lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marhaba Lounge | Opposite gates F3 and F4 | 24 hours | Priority Pass with a 3 hour cap, paid entry | The only lounge in the terminal; buffet, drinks and wifi, and it earns its keep during flydubai's early waves |
Terminal 2 is the bare bones side of DXB, and one Marhaba is the entire lounge scene. That makes the decision easy. If you hold a Priority Pass and face more than two hours here, use it; the terminal's public seating and food court do not reward a long wait. Connecting through T2 also means an airside bus across the field, so bank your lounge time after the transfer, not before.
Terminal 3
Terminal 3 lounges, Concourses A, B and C
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Emirates First Class Lounge A | Concourse A, lounge level | 24 hours | Emirates first class, Skywards Platinum; paid from 300 dollars (250 for Skywards members) plus VAT | An entire floor of the A380 concourse with direct boarding and the Timeless Spa; one of the great first class lounges anywhere |
| Emirates Business Class Lounge A | Concourse A, lounge level | 24 hours | Emirates business class Saver fares and above, Skywards Silver, Gold and Platinum; paid from 175 dollars (150 Skywards) plus VAT | The largest Emirates business lounge at around 16,000 square metres, with direct boarding from the lounge floor |
| Emirates First Class Lounge B | Concourse B | 24 hours | As for first class above; business passengers from B hosted in a dedicated dining area during the refurbishment next door | Carrying three lounges' worth of traffic right now; still comfortable, rarely serene |
| Emirates Business Class Lounge B | Concourse B | Closed for refurbishment | Reopening date to be confirmed | Business passengers use the dedicated area inside the B first class lounge meanwhile |
| Emirates First Class Lounge C | Concourse C | Closed since 3 March 2026 | First class passengers redirected to the Concourse B first class lounge | No reopening date published; to be confirmed |
| Emirates Business Class Lounge C | Concourse C | 24 hours | Emirates business access and paid entry as above | The oldest of the set and it shows; fine for a meal and a shower before a C gate |
| The Emirates Lounge | Concourse C, near gate C9 | 24 hours | Emirates access and paid entry as for the business class lounges | More modern and calmer than the C business lounge; the smart pick at that end of the building |
| Marhaba Lounge A | Concourse A, between gates A2 and A3 | 24 hours | Priority Pass with a 3 hour cap, DragonPass, paid entry; showers cost extra | The Priority Pass workhorse in the A380 concourse |
| Marhaba Lounge B | Concourse B, north side near gate B21 | 24 hours | Priority Pass with a 3 hour cap, DragonPass, paid entry; showers cost extra | Closest independent door to the bulk of Emirates departures; expect a queue overnight |
| Marhaba Lounge C | Concourse C, between gates C21 and C23 | Closed from 3 June 2026 | Was a Priority Pass door; reopening to be confirmed | Use the A or B branch instead |
| Sleepover sleep lounges | Concourse B (sleep pods) and Concourse C (sleep suites) | To be confirmed | Paid by the hour; Priority Pass rest packages per current program terms | Built for sleep, not snacks; pods in B, enclosed suites in C |
Flying Emirates in a premium cabin, you have nothing to plan: every concourse has a door, and in A the lounges board the aircraft directly. Everyone else should aim for Marhaba in Concourse A or B and treat the June 2026 closures as a routing fact. Distances are the tax here. Concourse A sits a train ride from B and C, so pick the lounge in the concourse your gate lives in, not the one a review praised. Thirty minutes of walking buys back nothing a Marhaba buffet cannot.

What actually opens these doors
Priority Pass is the widest key at DXB: Marhaba in Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 Concourses A and B, the Ahlan Business Class Lounge in Terminal 1, the SkyTeam Lounge between 02:00 and 20:00, and timed rest packages at the Sleepover sleep lounges. Most entries carry a 3 hour cap, the SkyTeam Lounge allows 4, and showers usually cost extra on a pass. DragonPass and LoungeKey mirror most of the Marhaba list; check your app for the live roster before you fly.
Emirates paid access is the only way into an Emirates lounge without the right cabin or Skywards tier, and it requires an Emirates or Qantas flight with an EK flight number. The business class lounges and The Emirates Lounge cost 175 dollars, or 150 for Skywards members. The first class lounges run 300 dollars, or 250 for members, and upgrading from business to first lounge access costs 175. All prices exclude 5 percent UAE VAT, cover up to four hours, and are sold at the lounge door by card only.
American Express has no Centurion lounge at DXB. Platinum cardholders work through the Priority Pass enrollment in the Global Lounge Collection, which reaches the Ahlan Business, Marhaba, SkyTeam and Sleepover doors listed above.
Paying at the door is cheap here by global standards. Ahlan Business starts around 44 dollars and Ahlan First around 55, both 24 hours, both in Terminal 1. Marhaba sells walk in entry at every open branch; current rates vary by lounge, so check before you queue.
Class of travel and status covers the rest. Skywards Silver opens the Emirates business lounges, Gold adds a guest, Platinum unlocks first. SkyTeam Elite Plus and Star Alliance Gold work their alliance doors in Terminal 1 on the usual terms.
Closures and program rules are moving targets at this airport, so confirm the specific door you are counting on the day you travel. For the full Priority Pass strategy, including how the overnight rush changes the math, see the DXB Priority Pass guide.

FAQ
Dubai airport lounge questions
Which DXB lounges take Priority Pass?
Marhaba is the backbone: Terminal 1 Concourse D, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3 Concourses A and B, all open 24 hours. Add the Ahlan Business Class Lounge in Terminal 1, the SkyTeam Lounge in Terminal 1 between 02:00 and 20:00, and rest packages at the Sleepover sleep lounges.
Can I pay to get into an Emirates lounge at DXB?
Yes, if you are flying Emirates or a Qantas flight with an EK flight number. Business class lounge entry costs 175 dollars, or 150 for Skywards members, and the first class lounges run 300 dollars, or 250 for members, all plus 5 percent VAT for up to four hours.
Are Dubai airport lounges open 24 hours?
Most are. The Emirates, Marhaba, Ahlan and SkyTeam lounges all run around the clock because DXB is busiest in the middle of the night. The main exceptions are the two Lufthansa lounges in Terminal 1, which open 20:30 to 02:00 around the overnight Lufthansa group departures.
Which DXB lounges are closed right now?
Three as of June 2026. The Emirates First Class Lounge in Concourse C closed on 3 March 2026 with passengers redirected to Concourse B, the Emirates Business Class Lounge in Concourse B is shut for refurbishment with a dedicated area inside the B first class lounge instead, and the Marhaba lounge in Concourse C closed on 3 June 2026.
Is there a lounge in Terminal 2 at Dubai airport?
One. The Marhaba Lounge opposite gates F3 and F4 runs 24 hours and takes Priority Pass and paid entry. It is the only comfort upgrade in the terminal, so it fills during the early flydubai waves.
What is the best DXB lounge without elite status?
On a Priority Pass, the Marhaba lounges in Terminal 3 Concourses A and B are the play. Paying cash, the Ahlan First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 at around 55 dollars buys calmer space and better food than most lounge program doors, at a fraction of what Emirates charges in Terminal 3.
