Dubai is the trip most people want, but it eats the clock. A taxi to central Dubai takes 30 to 40 minutes and roughly AED 80 to 120, well over an hour in the evening rush. Do it only if your bags are checked through and your entry is sorted, and be back well ahead of departure. Verify before travel.

Plan a bed, do not bank on the floor
