Walks are short. From kerb to the farthest gate rarely runs more than 10 to 15 minutes, signage is in Urdu and English, and the layout is simple once you know which wing you need. A separate Hajj terminal handles only pilgrimage charters in season, so ignore it unless that is your flight.

There is one change worth tracking: a new terminal is under construction with completion targeted for September 2026 according to the Pakistan Airports Authority, after which domestic flights are due to move into the new building while international traffic stays in the current one. Until it opens, treat LHE as a single terminal airport, because in practice that is what it is.

Be back at the terminal with margin, because international check in opens about 3 hours before departure and the kerb gets crowded at the big banks.
Overnight
Plan a bed, not a bench
Lahore inverts the usual overnight lull. The heaviest international waves to the Gulf and Europe leave between roughly midnight and 6am, so the terminal is brightest and loudest exactly when you want to sleep, and the fixed armrests defeat lying flat.
