Oslo Gardermoen Lounges (OSL): Every Lounge and How to Get In

Oslo Gardermoen runs five lounges in a single terminal, split between the domestic A pier and the international E area. None of them sit past passport control, and that one fact shapes every lounge decision at OSL.

Lounge verdict
Decent but thin. Two SAS lounges and two pay at the door OSL Lounges cover the terminal, the quality is genuinely Scandinavian, and walk up prices are fair by European standards. The gap is the non Schengen F gates, where nothing exists at all.
Best access play
Pay at the door. OSL Lounge International admits any traveler with a same day international boarding pass for NOK 445, and OSL Lounge Innland on the domestic side starts at NOK 400. Priority Pass buys you a NOK 240 restaurant credit here, not a lounge.
The one thing to know
Every lounge sits before passport control. Flying non Schengen from the F gates, take your lounge time in the Schengen departures area first, then budget 20 to 30 minutes to clear passport control afterward.

Gardermoen is one terminal with two piers. Domestic flights use the A gates on the west side, international flights use the east pier, where the E gates handle Schengen departures and the F gates beyond passport control handle non Schengen flights to London, Dubai, New York and the rest of the world. The lounges pair up neatly: SAS Domestic Lounge at gate A2 and OSL Lounge Innland by gate A15 serve the domestic pier, while the SAS Lounge and OSL Lounge International sit one floor up near gate E2, within a minute of each other above the duty free and the Starbucks.

Hours below were checked on 13 May 2026. Two changes matter if you have not flown through Oslo recently. SAS merged its separate Gold Lounge into the main SAS Lounge on 1 October 2025, so there is now one bigger SAS door per pier rather than a two tier setup. And Priority Pass quietly lost its last proper lounge here, leaving a restaurant credit as the only thing the card does at OSL. Both shifts push more travelers toward the paid OSL Lounges, which is why prebooking or arriving early matters on summer mornings.

The domestic pier is the easier half of the airport. SAS holds the strong door at A2, rebuilt as a single lounge with the old Gold standard of catering, and it is the only lounge at Gardermoen with showers. OSL Lounge Innland by A15 covers everyone else, including Widerøe Flex and Full Flex passengers on direct flights to Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim and a handful of coastal routes, plus Norwegian Reward Priority members when flying Widerøe. Norwegian itself runs no lounge anywhere at OSL.

Both international doors sit in the same corner near E2, which makes the choice simple. With a SkyTeam key, take the SAS Lounge: it is larger, the buffet runs all day, and the merger with the Gold Lounge lifted the food and the furniture in one go. Without status, OSL Lounge International at NOK 445 is a fair deal by Nordic standards, with one warning: the lounge admits guests under 18 only with a parent or guardian, and the door closes at 20:30 even though evening non Schengen departures continue later. Norse Atlantic premium passengers can prebook this lounge, and TUI premium fares are included too.

This is the trap at Gardermoen. Every lounge in the airport stands in the Schengen departures area, so once you clear passport control for a flight to London, Bangkok or New York, your options shrink to gate seating and a couple of cafes. The play is to use the SAS Lounge or OSL Lounge International first, watch the screens, and leave with a margin: passport control runs smoothly off peak but can take 20 to 30 minutes when the morning long haul bank departs. Avinor confirms access rules for the OSL Lounges apply from 3 hours before departure, which fits this rhythm well.

What actually opens these doors

Paying at the door is the widest key at OSL. The international OSL Lounge charges a flat NOK 445 from 3 hours before departure, and the domestic OSL Lounge Innland tiers its pricing by time: NOK 400 within 3 hours of departure, NOK 700 between 3 and 5 hours, NOK 850 beyond that. SAS also sells lounge entry online and at reception to anyone holding a same day SAS or SkyTeam boarding pass, subject to capacity, with pricing set per trip.

SAS and SkyTeam cover the two strongest lounges. Business class on SAS or any SkyTeam carrier, EuroBonus Diamond or Gold, or SkyTeam Elite Plus status with any alliance airline opens the SAS Lounge internationally and the SAS Domestic Lounge at A2. Since the Gold Lounge merger of October 2025 there is no separate top tier room, just one better lounge per pier.

Priority Pass opens no lounge at Oslo Gardermoen. The card gives a NOK 240 dining credit per person at Trattoria Tavolare, the Italian restaurant between gates D1 and E2, with the same deduction for each registered guest. Norwegian alcohol rules require food on the order before the credit covers a drink. The full strategy, including whether the credit beats just paying for the OSL Lounge, lives in our OSL Priority Pass guide.

Card programs do better than Priority Pass here. Amex Platinum and Centurion cards issued in Norway, Sweden or Finland open both OSL Lounges, and Lounge Key access through Norwegian banks such as DNB, Nordea, SEB and Sparebank1 works at both as well, valid from 3 hours before departure. DragonPass and Lounge Pass cover the international door.

Airline agreements fill in the rest. Around 20 carriers send their business cabin and elite passengers to OSL Lounge International, including British Airways, Finnair, Icelandair Saga tiers, KLM, Air France, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and Thai Airways. Widerøe Flex and Full Flex fares unlock OSL Lounge Innland on select domestic routes. Programs shift, so confirm the door you are counting on the day you fly.

FAQ

Oslo Gardermoen lounge questions

Does Oslo airport have a Priority Pass lounge?

No. Priority Pass at OSL is a NOK 240 dining credit per person at Trattoria Tavolare, a restaurant between gates D1 and E2 before passport control. No lounge at Gardermoen currently admits Priority Pass members.

Can I pay to enter a lounge at Oslo Gardermoen without status?

Yes. OSL Lounge International charges NOK 445 with any same day international boarding pass, from 3 hours before departure. OSL Lounge Innland on the domestic side charges NOK 400 within 3 hours of departure, rising to NOK 700 and NOK 850 for earlier entry.

Where is the SAS Lounge at Oslo airport?

There are two. The SAS Lounge for international flights sits one floor up by Starbucks near gate E2, and the SAS Domestic Lounge sits at gate A2. Both open 1 hour before the first SAS departure and close 30 minutes before the last.

What happened to the SAS Gold Lounge at OSL?

SAS merged its Gold Lounge into the main SAS Lounge on 1 October 2025, at Oslo as well as Copenhagen and Stockholm. The combined lounge adopted the higher Gold standard of food and service, so eligible travelers now share one larger room per pier.

Are there lounges in the non Schengen area at OSL?

No. All five lounges stand in the Schengen departures area before passport control. Travelers flying from the non Schengen F gates should visit a lounge first, then allow 20 to 30 minutes to clear passport control before boarding.

Do any Oslo airport lounges have showers?

The SAS Domestic Lounge at gate A2 has shower facilities with free towel rental. Shower availability in the other lounges is to be confirmed, so plan around the SAS domestic door if a shower is the point of your visit.
