Miami International Lounges (MIA): Every Lounge and How to Get In
Miami runs about a dozen lounges across six concourses, including the largest American Airlines Flagship Lounge anywhere and the only lounge in the airport that never closes. Here is the full map.
- Lounge verdict
- Strong if you fly American or carry Priority Pass, thin otherwise. The Flagship Lounge across from gate D30 is the best room at the airport, and the two Turkish Airlines lounges do the heavy lifting for everyone without status.
- Best access play
- Priority Pass opens three doors as of June 2026: the Turkish Airlines lounges in Concourse E and in the H to J connector, plus the Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge in Concourse J, the only 24 hour lounge at MIA.
- The one thing to know
- Concourse D stretches more than a mile end to end. Pick the American club nearest your gate and ride the Skytrain, because walking from D60 back to the Centurion Lounge at D12 eats twenty minutes you do not have.

How the Miami lounge map works
American Airlines owns the North Terminal. Concourse D holds all three of its clubs plus the Amex Centurion Lounge, strung along a pier so long that a Skytrain with four stations runs above the gates. The Central Terminal is the international patchwork: Turkish Airlines and British Airways operate lounges in Concourse E, Concourse F has one shuttered club, and Concourse G has no lounge at all. The South Terminal answers with the Delta Sky Club in H, a second Turkish Airlines lounge in the H to J connector, and the LATAM and Avianca rooms out in Concourse J serving the late South America bank.
Hours below were checked on 25 April 2026 against the airport's own lounge directory and the operators. Two clubs were listed as temporarily closed on that date, and one more had a short closure earlier in the year, so MIA rewards a plan B more than most hubs. The good news for overnight connections: the Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge never closes, which is rare anywhere in the United States.
North Terminal
Concourse D lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| American Airlines Flagship Lounge | Across from gate D30, Skytrain station 3 | 05:00 to 23:00 | Qualifying first and business on American or oneworld, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, ConciergeKey, single visit Flagship Pass when capacity allows | The largest Flagship Lounge in the American system at around 29,000 square feet; the best room at MIA |
| Admirals Club D15 | Third floor above gate D15, Skytrain station 1 | 05:00 to 23:00 | Admirals Club members, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, qualifying premium cabins, one day pass subject to capacity | The full day club at the quieter end of D; the right pick for early departures from low gate numbers |
| Admirals Club D30 | Across from gate D30, Skytrain station 3 | 06:00 to 20:30 | Admirals Club members, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, qualifying premium cabins, one day pass subject to capacity | Shorter hours than D15; convenient if your gate sits mid pier, skippable otherwise |
| American Express Centurion Lounge | Level 4 near gate D12, Skytrain station 1 | 05:00 to 22:00 | Amex Centurion and Platinum cardholders, Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders flying Delta | Runs at capacity for much of the day with a waitlist at peak; arrive early or write it off |
Concourse D is an American Airlines fortress, and the geography matters more than the access rules. The Flagship Lounge and the D30 Admirals Club share the same Skytrain stop, while the D15 club and the Centurion sit a full train ride away at station 1. Decide which end of the pier your gate is on before you commit, because the walk between them is the longest lounge to lounge distance at any single concourse in the country.
Central Terminal
Concourse E and F lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Turkish Airlines Lounge E | Concourse E, level 2, after security | 05:00 to 22:00 | Star Alliance first and business, Turkish elites, Priority Pass, one day pass with any same day boarding pass | One of the strongest Priority Pass rooms in the country; the default choice without status |
| British Airways Lounge | Concourse E Satellite, level 4 | 13:00 to 22:30 | BA First and Club World, BA Club Gold and Silver, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire on transatlantic flights | Built around the evening London departures; the 1 pm opening makes it useless for a morning layover |
| Admirals Club E | Concourse E, level 5 | Temporarily closed; 13:00 to 22:30 when operating | Admirals Club members, oneworld Emerald and Sapphire, qualifying premium cabins on American, British Airways, Iberia or Qatar, when open | Closed as of June 2026 with no reopening date published; do not route a plan around it |
| Club America F | Concourse F, level 3 | Temporarily closed; 07:30 to 22:00 when operating | Member airline first and business by invitation, 50 dollar day pass, Priority Pass listed, when open | Closed as of June 2026; check status before counting on the Priority Pass entry |
| Military Hospitality Lounge | Concourse E, level 2, before security | 09:00 to 17:00 | US and allied active duty and retired military with ID and proof of same day travel | A genuine free rest stop for service members and their dependents; landside, so anyone eligible can use it |
The Central Terminal is where MIA's lounge bench gets thin. With the Admirals Club E and Club America both shuttered, the Turkish Airlines lounge on level 2 carries the whole concourse, and reviewers consistently rank it above most domestic Priority Pass rooms for food alone. Concourse G has nothing, so if you fly from a G gate, eat in E first and walk over.
South Terminal
Concourse H and J lounges
| Lounge | Location | Hours | Access | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Delta Sky Club | Concourse H, level 2, past the H checkpoint | 04:15 to 21:30 | Sky Club members, Delta One, SkyTeam Elite Plus on international itineraries, eligible Amex Platinum and Delta Reserve cardholders flying Delta | Expanded in recent years and comfortably the best SkyTeam option at MIA; opens earliest of any lounge here |
| Turkish Airlines Lounge H | Level 3, inside the H to J connector | 04:00 to 22:00, varies with flight schedules | Star Alliance first and business, Turkish Elite and Elite Plus, Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Diners Club, day pass subject to capacity | Had a short closure in February 2026; confirm it is open on the day before you build your plan around it |
| The VIP Lounge by LATAM | Concourse J, level 3, near gate J6 | Open most days into the early hours; full schedule to be confirmed | LATAM and member airline first and business by invitation, three hour day pass subject to capacity | Timed around the late evening South America departures; the day pass is a fair buy before a midnight flight |
| Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge | Concourse J, across from gate J6 | 24 hours daily | Avianca, TAP and Star Alliance first and business, LifeMiles Gold and Diamond, Star Alliance Gold, Priority Pass, day passes subject to capacity | The only lounge at MIA that never closes; the anchor for every overnight connection |
The South Terminal quietly holds the best access story at the airport. Two of its four lounges take Priority Pass, and the Avianca and TAP Portugal room runs around the clock, which matters because MIA's departure schedule peaks close to midnight with the South America wave. Landing at 11 pm with a 7 am onward flight, Concourse J is the only place in the airport with a lounge door still open.

What actually opens these doors
Priority Pass opens three doors at MIA as of June 2026: the Turkish Airlines lounges in Concourse E and in the H to J connector, and the 24 hour Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge in Concourse J. Club America in Concourse F is also on the program but temporarily closed. Entry is always subject to space, and the Turkish lounge in E fills fastest. The full strategy, including which door to walk to from each concourse, is in the MIA Priority Pass guide.
American Express runs its Centurion Lounge near gate D12 for Centurion and Platinum cardholders, with Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders admitted when flying Delta. Platinum and Delta Reserve cards also open the Delta Sky Club in Concourse H on same day Delta travel, subject to the visit caps Amex introduced in 2025.
Paying at the door works at more lounges than you might expect. American sells a Flagship Pass and Admirals Club one day passes when the rooms have space, both Turkish Airlines lounges sell day passes to anyone with a same day boarding pass, the Avianca and TAP Portugal Lounge sells entry around the clock, the LATAM lounge offers a three hour pass, and Club America charges 50 dollars when it is operating.
Class of travel and status covers the rest. oneworld keys work hardest here: Emerald and Sapphire open the Flagship Lounge, both Admirals Clubs and, on transatlantic itineraries, the British Airways lounge. Star Alliance Gold opens the Avianca and TAP Portugal room and premium cabins open both Turkish lounges. SkyTeam Elite Plus on an international ticket gets the Sky Club.
Operators move and rules shift, and MIA has had three lounge closures inside a year. Treat the tables above as the map, and confirm the specific door you are counting on the day you fly.
