Copenhagen Kastrup lounges CPH: every lounge and how to get in

Copenhagen keeps everything under one roof: one security checkpoint, one connected airside concourse, six lounge names across three airside zones. Here is every lounge with hours, prices, and the realistic ways in.

Lounge verdict Decent, not deep. Six lounge names but really five doors, since the SAS Lounge absorbed the Gold Lounge in October 2025. Four lounges sell entry at the door, prices are fair by Nordic standards, and nothing stays open past about 20:30.

Best access play The Aspire Lounge near the A gates. It reopened in late 2025 after a full refit, takes Priority Pass, has showers and a calmer adults only Suites section upstairs, and sits a short walk from most Schengen departures.

The one thing to know Every lounge except Eventyr sits in the Schengen zone. Eventyr, the only non Schengen lounge, closed for renovation on 31 January 2026 and its reopening is still to be confirmed, so plan lounge time before passport control.

A and B piers

All three independent lounges at Kastrup cluster on the Terminal 2 side of the concourse, between the A and B piers. Since security is centralized, anyone airside can reach them regardless of which terminal their airline checks in at.

The Aspire Lounge is the headline act after its late 2025 refurbishment: a 520 square meter room upstairs near the A gates, reached by stairs or a lift, with a buffet, an island bar, and private booths. Upstairs again sits Suites by Aspire, an adults only section with champagne on arrival, a la carte dining, and shower suites for a higher entry price. The two Aviator lounges next door share a single entrance. The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge pours its namesake beer on tap and serves Nordic tapas, while the Danske Bank Aviator Business Lounge, reopened in January 2025 after its own refit, is the quieter room with soundproofed office pods and spirits at the buffet.

Pier C, Schengen side

The SAS complex opposite gate C10

The biggest lounge at Kastrup belongs to the home carrier. The SAS complex sits on the Schengen side of pier C, directly opposite gate C10 and the entrance to passport control, and spreads 2,840 square meters over two levels.

Until October 2025 the upper level operated separately as the SAS Gold Lounge for top tier EuroBonus members. SAS merged the two on 1 October 2025 into a single SAS Lounge, the same change it made at Oslo and Stockholm. Inside there is a seasonal buffet with breakfast served until about 11:00, showers, a kids playroom, a bookable meeting room for up to 12 people, and a daylight booster zone for dark Scandinavian mornings. The alliance math changed in September 2024 when SAS moved from Star Alliance to SkyTeam: SkyTeam Elite Plus members and SkyTeam premium cabins now get in, while Star Alliance Gold members are pointed at the Aviator lounges instead.

Non Schengen zone

Past passport control: the Eventyr Lounge

One lounge serves the non Schengen zone, and right now it is a building site. The Eventyr Lounge closed for renovation on 31 January 2026 with reopening planned for spring 2026, and its current status is to be confirmed.

When operating, Eventyr is a 750 square meter circular room toward gates C26 to C28 with seating for about 170 and a wide panoramic view over the runways, the best plane watching of any CPH lounge. It serves a hot and cold buffet with alcohol included, has showers, a kids corner, and lift access. It is also the busiest door for card programs: the airport warns that cardholder spots run out regularly between 12:00 and 16:00 even in normal times. Premium passengers of British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Turkish Airlines and several other non Schengen carriers use it as their contract lounge.

Which doors open for you at CPH

Work down this list and stop at the first line that matches you. That is your lounge.

Priority Pass. Two doors today: the Aspire Lounge near the A gates and the Carlsberg Aviator Lounge between the A and B piers. Eventyr normally makes it three for non Schengen flyers, once the renovation ends. There are no Priority Pass restaurant credits at Copenhagen, so the lounges are the whole benefit. The full picture, including the busy hour squeeze, sits on our Priority Pass at Copenhagen (CPH) guide.

Cabin or alliance status. SkyTeam is the home team now. SAS Business and Premium passengers, SkyTeam premium cabins, EuroBonus Gold and Diamond, and SkyTeam Elite Plus all use the SAS Lounge at pier C. Star Alliance Gold members lost the SAS door when SAS switched alliances in 2024 and are directed to the Aviator lounges instead. Non Schengen premium flyers on British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and similar carriers get Eventyr, renovation permitting.

A bank card. Danske Bank World Elite Mastercard holders walk into the Danske Bank Aviator Business Lounge free. That is the only bank card door at CPH; there is no Amex Centurion Lounge in Denmark, though Amex Platinum and Centurion cards carry Priority Pass memberships that cover Aspire and the Carlsberg Aviator.

Cash. No card, no pass, no status: pay at the door. The Carlsberg Aviator starts at 229 DKK for 3 hours, the Danske Bank lounge charges 289 DKK subject to capacity, Aspire starts around 270 DKK with the Suites section from about 420 DKK, and the SAS Lounge sells entry from 199 DKK online to anyone holding a SAS or SkyTeam boarding pass, with door entry at 349 DKK. Eventyr charges 300 DKK when open. By Copenhagen price standards the cheaper doors earn their keep on any layover past 2 hours.

FAQ

Copenhagen lounge questions

Which Copenhagen Airport lounges take Priority Pass?

Two right now: the Aspire Lounge near the A gates and the Carlsberg Aviator Lounge between the A and B piers. The Eventyr Lounge in the non Schengen zone normally takes it as well but closed for renovation on 31 January 2026; verify it has reopened before counting on it.

Can I pay to enter a lounge at CPH without status?

Yes, four lounges sell entry. The Carlsberg Aviator Lounge charges from 229 kroner at the door, the Danske Bank Aviator Business Lounge charges 289 kroner subject to capacity, the Aspire Lounge starts around 270 kroner, and the SAS Lounge sells access from 199 kroner online to passengers flying SAS or another SkyTeam airline.

Is any CPH lounge open 24 hours?

No. The last doors close by about 20:30, and the Aspire Lounge closes at 20:00. For a late evening or overnight connection, plan on the padded benches airside or the Clarion hotel connected to Terminal 3 rather than a lounge.

Which lounge can Star Alliance Gold members use at Copenhagen?

SAS left Star Alliance for SkyTeam in 2024, so the SAS Lounge no longer serves Star Alliance Gold members. Star Alliance now points its premium flyers at the Aviator lounges between the A and B piers. Check your airline's lounge finder before you fly, since the mapping can change.

Is there a lounge after passport control for non Schengen flights at CPH?

Only one, the Eventyr Lounge toward gates C26 to C28. It closed for renovation on 31 January 2026 with reopening planned for spring 2026. Until it reopens, use a Schengen side lounge before you go through passport control.

Can economy passengers buy access to the SAS Lounge?

Yes. SAS sells lounge access from 199 kroner online, and the airport lists 349 kroner or 4,300 EuroBonus points at the entrance. You need a boarding pass for SAS or another SkyTeam airline, entry opens 3 hours before departure, and access depends on space.
