Chiang Mai International Lounges CNX: every lounge and how to get in
Five lounges split across the two wings, but only two of them open without airline status. After AOT pulled its airline lounges from the third party programs in April 2025, the Coral Executive pair is the door most travelers will use. Here is the full map.

- Small but workable, and clearer than it used to be. The two Coral Executive lounges, one in each wing, are the only rooms at CNX that still take Priority Pass, and they also sell walk up entry. The Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways lounges now admit only their own eligible passengers.

- On 1 April 2025 AOT removed its airline lounges across its Thai airports from Priority Pass and DragonPass. At CNX that means the Thai Airways Royal Orchid lounges and the Bangkok Airways lounge stopped taking those programs, so do not arrive expecting Priority Pass to open them.

How the Chiang Mai lounge map works
The wing decides everything at CNX. The international and domestic wings sit in one building but do not connect airside, so a lounge is only reachable from within the wing you depart from. Plan around your gate, not the lounge a security line away. Both wings carry a Coral Executive lounge, which is the design that keeps the access story simple here.
Five lounges operate in total: two Coral Executive, two Thai Airways Royal Orchid, and one Bangkok Airways. The Coral pair is the open door, taking Priority Pass, DragonPass, several bank cards and paid walk up entry. The other three are airline lounges that, since the April 2025 change, serve only their own premium passengers and status holders. Hours track the flight schedule at the edges of the day, so treat the figures below as verify at the desk.

Two notes from the table. The Coral Executive lounges are the only ones a general traveler can plan on, by Priority Pass or by paying at the door, and they are the reason CNX still reads as a friendly lounge airport. And the Bangkok Airways lounge, while generous in spirit since the carrier admits all of its passengers regardless of cabin, only helps if you are actually flying Bangkok Airways that day.

What actually opens these doors
Priority Pass covers only the two Coral Executive lounges, one in each wing. It no longer opens the Thai Airways Royal Orchid lounges or the Bangkok Airways lounge, because AOT removed its airline lounges from Priority Pass and DragonPass on 1 April 2025. Choose the Coral lounge in your departure wing.
Paying at the door works at both Coral lounges, at around 1,200 baht for a 3 hour stay, which includes a short neck massage subject to availability. Complimentary alcohol at Coral is limited to beer, and children under 2 are admitted free, with a maximum stay of 3 hours.
DragonPass and bank card programs also open the Coral lounges, so check whether a card you already hold bundles access before you buy a separate pass. Status and class of travel cover the rest: the Thai Airways Royal Orchid lounges for Thai premium cabins, Star Alliance Gold and Thai elites, and the Bangkok Airways lounge for that airline's own passengers in any cabin.
Because the wings do not connect airside, the single most useful rule is to pick the Coral lounge in your departure wing, and to confirm the hours on the day, since they shorten around the first and last flights.
